UAE’s shimmery sun makes it a perfect day for GEC Open 2016
UAE’s enthusiasm and deep interest for golf has always been a pleasurable experience for GEC Open. Being the home country of GEC Open, the event like every year was a very successful one. The event saw a blend of golfers who associate with GEC Open every year as well as new players who played for the first time with GEC Open.
Dubai Golf and Yatch Club was chosen by GEC Open for the tournament. The bright sunny afternoon and the perfectly crafted green lush grass acted as a catalyst to engage the golfers to play the tournament with a competitive edge.
The winners of the GEC Open 2016, Dubai edition were; Mr. Niranj Sangal bagged the first position followed by Mr. Sergio Desouza in the second spot and Mr. David Evans in the third. The longest drive award was won by Mr. Tom Buchanan. The winner for the nearest to the pin went to Mr. Masoud Sobati.

The GEC Open golf tournament was followed by a fun filled fashionable award ceremony GEC Awards which felicitates the top IT organizations in the Middle East region. The award categories were diverse and were decided on basis on nomination and the jury verdict.
